Enroute 2 Success’ Impact: Building Skills, Confidence, and Community
At Enroute 2 Success, our organization has a sole focus on helping youth grow and inhabit valuable life skills through our chess programs, golf programs and workshops. Thanks to your continued support, what began as a small initiative has grown into something bigger.
Our impact in the last few years have resulted in awards and recognitions that we are very proud of:

But how did we get here? Keep reading to learn more about what we do and the positive impact we’ve had so far.
Our Programs
Our chess program helps youth in the community think ahead, solve problems strategically and work under pressure. These sessions help students sharpen cognitive skills such as memory, focus, and patience. For many participants this is their first introduction to chess and they leave not only with new strategies, but also a sense of belonging and community.
As one participant shared, “Chess means a lot to me. With this group of people, I feel like I fit in. This place also helps me with my future in chess. Thank you.”
Golf gives an opportunity for our students to engage with a sport that emphasizes consistency, discipline, and self-confidence. Through guided instructions and hands-on practice, students learn the basics of golf and gain exposure to a sport that they might not otherwise have access to. Beyond the basics, golf teaches our students about patience, critical thinking and focus- skills that are important in everyday life.
We see our impact in the words of our participants, “I never thought I would play or enjoy golf, but thanks to Enroute 2 Success, I have made a new hobby and have made new friends”.
Thanks to community support, we’ve been able to provide mentorship, equipment, and safe places, removing the barriers that prevent youth from exploring this sport.

Annual Golf Tournament
Each year, to celebrate our community, Enroute 2 Success hosts an annual golf tournament- an event that raises essential funds and deepens connections with our fellow supporters.
It is a time when community leaders, donors and sponsors come together not only to give but to be appreciated and celebrated. Each year, over 50 supporters come together to celebrate Enroute 2 Success and our accomplishments.
Guests enjoy a full day of golf, a lively auction featuring items and experiences, and a celebratory reception with food and live music. The tournament serves as both a fundraiser and a heartfelt thank-you to those who help make our programs possible.
