Sip & Paint with EnRoute 2 Success: An Evening of Art, Wine, and Community

When art, music, and good company come together, something special happens. On Saturday, October 18, guests gathered at Vision Room Studios in Brampton for our Sip & Paint Night, a relaxed evening that blended art, elegance, and community.
The Art
Talented artist Katrina Abrahams led the evening, moving between easels and offering easy-to-follow guidance as guests worked on their paintings.
Katrina’s perspective on art aligns closely with the heart of EnRoute 2 Success. Having grown up in Jamaica, she draws inspiration from color, light, and the idea that creativity can uplift people during life’s challenges. She often describes her goal as inspiring peace and joy in others, a belief that reflects our mission to help youth build confidence, focus, and resilience through positive experiences.
The Wine Tasting Table
C.H. Haughton Wine Co. sponsored our wine tasting table and set up a beautiful pouring station that quickly became a centerpiece of the room. Guests enjoyed White Zinfandel, Moscato, and Trilogy, a red blend, offering something for every taste. Their wines use about 85% fewer preservatives, have low sugar, and are made without harsh chemicals, allowing guests to enjoy each pour as a cleaner, healthier choice.
Partnerships like this help us bring people together through art, build community, and fund our youth programs across the GTA. Thank you to C.H. Haughton Wine Co. for making the evening both delicious and memorable.
Moments that Made the Night
Snacks, live music, and raffle prizes kept energy high throughout the painting session. Guests swapped techniques, laughed at each other’s missteps, and paused to admire the growing lineup of landscapes. Raffle prizes included a spa package donated by La Peau D’or and gift cards from Butter and Cup Cafe. Live entertainment from saxophonist Joseph Callender added an elegant ambiance to the room. Under Katrina’s guidance, everyone explored impressionism through a scenic fall landscape.
What’s Next: From Paintbrushes to Chessboards
Following the success of our Sip & Paint Night, we are excited to continue that spirit with our next gathering, Chess Fest 2025!
Happening on Saturday, November 22 at Meadowvale Community Centre in Mississauga, and presented in collaboration with Mississauga Councillor Martin Reid, Chess Fest will feature a variety of exciting activities. Attendees can test their knowledge in the chess trivia challenge, watch a friendly Battle of the Heroes between local police and firefighters, participate in a chess tournament, or enjoy casual matches at the open play chess tables.
From painting to playing chess, every Enroute 2 Success event celebrates creativity, connection, and the joy of learning together. We look forward to seeing you at Chess Fest for another inspiring evening of community! Get your tickets here.
