Chess Lessons.
Discover chess with EnRoute 2 Success!
Our free lessons give youth the opportunity to learn the game, develop new strategies, and connect with other players.
Led by an experienced chess coach, each session combines instruction, practice, and games in an environment that encourages participants to learn, challenge themselves, and grow in confidence.
More Than Just a Game
Chess is a game of strategy, patience, and problem-solving. As players learn to think ahead, recognize patterns, and make decisions, they develop skills that extend beyond the chessboard.
Our program encourages youth to challenge themselves, learn from their mistakes, and build confidence through practice. It's also an opportunity to meet other players, develop friendships, and enjoy some friendly competition.
What to Expect
Our lessons combine coach-led instruction with opportunities to put new skills into practice. Beginners learn the fundamentals of chess, from how the pieces move to basic strategies, while returning players continue developing their understanding of tactics and gameplay.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions, try different approaches, and improve at their own pace.
